Tour of Utah

In case you didn't already know, Kyron is a big biker. He loves getting out and riding around and the satisfaction of finishing some tough rides! So you can imagine our joy when my internship offered two VIP tickets to a stage in the Tour of Utah. (more info at their website for what this is)

We went to the VIP tents and had some delicious food (I think everything I post involves food...) and partied with some other bike fans! There were a bunch of sponsors that had little tent booths and we got a good amount of free stuff! We got super cool t-shirts and water bottles from Health Sciences.  It was such a fun time!

The Jazz Bear just decided to pick me up.

Us at the food tents and sponsor tents

This was the huge screen they had that showed the video of where the bikers were. And this is where they ended up at the end of the stage.

The Fishing Ranch

Later in July, we headed out to Colorado to Kyron's family's Fishing Ranch.

so.much.fun. <3

Gorgeous entrance right??

We love going there! But we were kind of terrible about taking pictures. We had such a great time eating and playing games with family. Overall a fabulous time! We had kind of a crazy drive down there, it was insanely raining and Kyron's sister and brother-in-law were riding a motorcycle. So we waited for a little bit at a gas station for the rain to go down so we could all stay together. Clearly, this is how we entertain ourselves.

*Embarrassing moment*
I found out I super hate shooting guns. We went to shoot some clay pigeons and holy cow, I couldn't even handle it haha. Kind of embarrassing but I think I scared myself in trying to shoot one and I did have a migraine already so... maybe we can blame it on that. I think my in-laws think I'm crazy. whoops!

But I tried to redeem myself so we went down to the little lake and did some awesome fishing! It's super fun to just be outside and have a good time with family :)

4th of July

Seriously, we're only in July?? I gotta speed up this updating process because we have current stuff to blog about too! Just trying to record the memories.

Alright, for the 4th of July we hit up the fabulous Kaysville parade and had a delicious breakfast with Kyron's side of the fam. So fun! Then we hurried back to the SLC to host my side of the family at a BBQ. We just sat outside on some benches and ate some awesome food! I contributed these marshmallow pops. Thank you Pinterest for keeping me crafty. (And thanks to the hubz for keeping me from going completely insane with my struggles to melt the dang chocolate. I'm so bad at this kind of stuff!)

So then we went to a Bee's game with everyone! Don't judge the picture, it was so stinking hot!! (But definitely missing that right now in the freezing forever-lasting winter)

Happy 4th of July everyone!

Boating - Bee's - Babysitting

Okay we have so many fun pictures from this last summer! Definitely missing the hot weather right now.

We had two fun boating adventures, well, one real boating and the other jet skiing, and they were all with some fun friends! We went jet skiing and played in the water at Willard Bay and then we did some boating and wakeboarding at Pineview Reservoir.

Kyron being a stud and jet skiing. so cool

The engaged <3 (at the time, they are now a beautiful married couple!) Love B-Licious and Crazy Legs

Oh us :)

It was so beautiful!!

Kyron's sweet wake boarding moves

We love going to sporting events. Obviously. So we got some tickets to a Bee's game!

GO BEE'S!!

While my sister and her husband went and ran RAGNAR, Kyron and I went out to Draper and got to play with the Bauman kiddos! We went and had some Trafalga fun!!

Little Millie didn't want to look at the camera, but she was having fun!

Will the rockclimbing man.

Eliza and Jake were cruising to the top every time!

So as you can see, we definitely had some good times last summer!

Catching Up - RSL

Holy cow! I didn't realize how much we've done since my last post until I started looking through pictures. And I'm not even that great at taking a lot of pictures so I know I'll leave a ton out. But since our 1 year anniversary we've done so much! I'll just have to do it post by post... if anyone even reads this :)

We kind of super LOVE Real Salt Lake games! (We even know the fight song now) We've gotten lucky and had a few tickets given to us and finding other cheap tickets and gone to a couple of games. And it's already almost that time again for more!

This was a super cold freezing one in the KFC Section.

This was our anniversary present to us:) We went with some of our friends and had a super fun time!

This is when my parentals took us to a game. This one was crazy hot and we were in the sun but it was fabulous as always!

"If you believe then just stand up on your feet
and shout it loud, REAL!
Here at the RioT the Battle Hymn's begun,
We're here for RSL!"

(just typing it out gives me chills... it's gonna be another great season!)

Worst at blogging

Guys. Remember that one time that I blogged?? I'm not very good at this. Whoops... But I suppose that's because we're doing too much living and not enough recording. I think I can be okay with that.

But I want to remember these fun times! So here I am, starting up the blog again. So much to catch up on.

Thanksgiving! Just a picture of us to start the blog back up right!

I'll try and make it last!

1 Year

WARNING : super cheesiness and romantics involved in this post. just sayin.

Guys. You brave souls still reading this. Kyron and I have been married for a whole year now! Crazy right? One down, eternity to go and loving it!

So, for the big day, we decided to document pretty much everything. Let's begin. I had to work for a couple hours in the morning and Kyron went and hit a few golf balls (and did something secretive... to be announced later...). He picked me up from work and we went out to lunch to Crown Burger. What a sweetie face, he bought me a gyro for our anniversary :) Such a stud. Then we went on a hike! I know, I know, a gyro before a hike? Terrible idea some might say... you'd be right. Let's just say, our hike to Lake Blanche was a struggle but hey, we totally did it!! And here are some pictures to prove it.

Our pre-hike picture

First beautiful waterfall!

Told ya we made it. Isn't it beautiful up there?? Seriously just what I needed, a little bit of the great outdoors with the sweet hubby

Just a shoe pic. nbd.

soo gorgeous!

romantic, no?

but then......

A MOOSE! loved it. so awesome! seems small but we were far away as it started to wander away

So then, we went downtown. When we parked to go to City Creek, this is the view we saw. What a gorgeous reminder of our wedding day the year earlier <3

CHEESECAKE FACTORY! Look how stinking pretty this restaurant is!

Our delicious food

Then we exchanged gifts. My sweet hubby got me a watch! I've been dying for one and he went out, secretively and surprised me with one! And I got him tickets to a Real game next month.

so the party will continue.

 forever. <3
